Taleh Kazymov is officially appointed Chairman of the CBA
Baku/13.04.22/Turan: Today, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the appointment of Taleh Kazimov as chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
Kazimov replaced Elman Rustamov at this post, who today has been appointed Advisor to the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan.
A 41-year-old Kazymov was previously the chairman of the board and CEO of Pasha Bank CJSC.—06D-

On the evening of February 5, it was reported that journalist Shahnaz Beylargizi had been arrested. She had been a presenter on the Toplum TV channel for several years. After a criminal case was initiated against the channel in March 2024 and nearly all of its staff were arrested, Beylargizi was questioned multiple times.
