Telephone Conversations between Putin, Pashinyan, Aliyev
Baku / 14.11.20 / Turan: On November 14, telephone contacts of Russian President Vladimir Putin with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took place, the Kremlin press service reported.
Practical aspects of the implementation of the agreements fixed in the trilateral statement on Nagorno-Karabakh of November 9 were discussed. Satisfaction was expressed that the ceasefire is being respected and the situation on the contact line is quite calm.
"In a conversation with Ilham Aliyev, Vladimir Putin, in particular, drew attention to the fact that Christian churches and monasteries are located in the regions that are returned to the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the Trilateral Statement. In this regard, he stressed the importance of ensuring the safety and normal church life of these shrines. The President of Azerbaijan showed understanding in this regard and said the Azerbaijani side will act in this direction," the message says. -0-

The detention took place near the Vadi İstanbul shopping center in the Sarıyer district, where a taxi was stopped. During the search, 70 kg of gold was found. The Azerbaijani citizen in the vehicle claimed ownership of the cargo and also stated that he was a diplomat. The investigation by the prosecutor's office is ongoing, reports Sabah newspaper. The media outlet does not disclose the name of the "diplomat," only his initials – M.G.Ş. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declined to comment on the situation.
