The arrests of corrupt officials will continue, Ilham Aliyev promises
Baku / 16,03.20 / Turan: “No one in Azerbaijan should work more than 8 hours. People are being exploited, and they are forced to agree, as there is no way out.” This unexpected recognition was made today by President Ilham Aliyev, receiving Sahil Babayev, Minister of Social Protection of the Population.
“It is very important that there is a very active contact between the ministry and citizens and you should monitor the situation,” Aliyev continued.
According to Sahil Babayev, over the past year in the private sector throughout the country, the number of labor agreements has increased by 100 thousand, and in the public sector - 53 thousand. “This led to a 42% increase in the payroll fund. From January 1 of this year to this day, the number of labor agreements has increased by 19,400” the minister said.
Further, I. Aliyev criticized the heads of executive authorities in the regions, who abuse their official position, forcing citizens to work for them, “like slaves and servants”.
“One was arrested, the others did not make a conclusion, the second was arrested, again the same thing. How many need to be arrested so that they abandon their dirty deeds? Let everyone know that the process will continue and even more serious measures will be taken against such shameful phenomena,” Aliyev threatened.-03D-
