The Azerbaijani military began checking Iranian buses at the Eyvazly post
Baku/14.09.21/Turan: From today, the Azerbaijani police and border guards stationed on the Goris-Kafan inter-state road have started checking not only Iranian trucks but buses as well, Armenian media reported citing the vice-mayor of Goris Karo Kocharyan. According to him, Iranian drivers are very dissatisfied, for they waste time, nerves and money.
Also, he added that the Azerbaijani armed forces have concentrated significant forces in the vicinity of the police post.
"In spite of the fact the Azerbaijanis do not stop the Armenian motor-cars, they do not allow us to stop. They just let us through and start checking cars with Iranian license plates," Kocharyan said.
It is worth reminding that above 20 km of the above-mentioned highway crosses the territory of Azerbaijan (the village of Eyvazli in the Gubadly region). Note that Azerbaijani border guards and police are stationed at this very site.
It should be borne in mind that the transport inspections began after numerous Iranian trucks began to enter Karabakh illegally. Their route from Iran also runs along the Goris-Kafan highway.
Since September 12, the Azerbaijani customs officers began charging a state duty from Iranian cars for driving through the territory of Azerbaijan .-02D-

The United States and the European Union, which tried to position themselves as mediators in the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, have come up with nothing and merely copied Russia's ideas, distorting their essence in order to "hijack" the peace process for themselves. However, their true goal was to take control of the region, to insert themselves into it, and to push out Russia, as well as Iran and Türkiye, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing on November 13.
