The EU monitoring mission has increased patrolling of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border
Baku/07.09.23/Turan: On Thursday, the monitoring mission of the European Union in Armenia reported on increased patrolling of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
The Mission's message says that this was done "to monitor military activities in the Gegharkunik and Syunik regions (the border with Kalbajar, Gubadli and Zangelan – Ed.)"
"Through our presence on the ground, we aim to contribute to calming tensions & impartial reporting on the situation," the Mission's Twitter account says. ---16d---
