The European Union will provide humanitarian aid for the victims of the current war in Karabakh
Baku / 13.11.20 / Turan: On November 12, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell, in telephone conversations with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia, announced the readiness of the European Union to provide humanitarian assistance to the civilian population affected by the hostilities in the Karabakh region, reads the message of the EU Foreign Service.
Borrell expressed the hope that the cessation of hostilities would consolidate the peaceful settlement of the conflict and prevent further human suffering.
He also noted that the EU is ready to provide humanitarian assistance to meet the needs of the civilian population affected by the conflict, and has already allocated about 1 million euros for emergency assistance, the report said. -02D-
