The leaders of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Turkey sign a package of trilateral documents
Baku/14.12.22/Turan: Today the leaders of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Turkmenistan - Ilham Aliyev, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Sardar Berdimuhammedov signed a package of trilateral documents. In particular, the heads of state signed the Joint Statement of the first summit of the leaders of the three countries. In addition, a trilateral intergovernmental agreement on trade and economic cooperation was signed.
The Framework Program for Intergovernmental Cooperation in Science, Education and Culture was also approved.
The parties signed an Intergovernmental Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of a Joint Advisory Commission in the field of customs cooperation.
An Intergovernmental Memorandum of Understanding on the development of cooperation in the energy sector was also signed.
An interdepartmental memorandum on the development of cooperation in the transport sector was signed. --06B--

On January 31, the trial of opposition politician Tofig Yagublu continued at the Baku Serious Crimes Court, where the examination of documents resumed. Elvin Zeynalov, a religious activist living in the village of Mashtaga, was detained on January 31 around noon by individuals in plain clothes outside a store near his home.
