The meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers will be held in June
In late May - early June, the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group will hold meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia. The purpose of these negotiations is to prepare the ministerial meeting, you already June. Unofficial information about this appeared on Thursday evening.
Earlier, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian confirmed that in early June, is expected separate meetings of Co-Chairs with the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan. With regard to the meeting of the Ministers themselves, Nalbandian then did not confirm this report. Today, in an interview with reporters, he said that he has not yet decided when and where it will go.
According to him, the meeting of the ministers will focus on the resumption of the negotiating process. Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has not commented on these reports. At the meeting in Vienna on May 16 with the participation of the presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as the heads of the co-chairs Foreign Ministers, it was decided to organize the next meeting in June with a view to continuation of the negotiation process and the development of trust measures.-02D-
