The Ministry of Defense denied reports of the shelling of the Zodsky mine
Baku/07.05.22/Turan: The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denied the reports of the Armenian media about the shelling of the Zod gold mine.
The Ministry of Defense said in a statement:
«The information spread in the Armenian media about the alleged shelling of Armenian civilian workers at the Sotg gold mine by the units of the Azerbaijan Army in the Kelbajar region of the state border is false and disinformation. We categorically deny this news».
According to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, on May 7, at about 13:50, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire on Armenian positions and in the direction of the Zod gold mine. "As a result, one of the employees received a gunshot wound," the Armenian side states.-0-
