The new ambassador of Germany starts work
A new German ambassador to Azerbaijan is Mrs. Heidrun Tempel, according to the German embassy in Baku.
Previously, she worked in the German Foreign Ministry as Ambassador for intercultural dialogue, as well as diplomatic missions in Jakarta and Brussels.
"My mission is to further rapprochement between Germany and Azerbaijan, and deepening our close economic and cultural relations," said the new ambassador, who replaced the ambassador Herbert Quelle. -16D-

In Georgia’s parliamentary elections, the ruling "Georgian Dream" party achieved a significant majority in areas with large Armenian and Azerbaijani populations: Akhalkalaki – 88%, Ninotsminda – 90%, Marneuli – 80%, Bolnisi – 81%, Tetritskaro – 68.6%, Dmanisi – 76.4%, Tsalka – 69.3%, and Gardabani – 70.8%.
