The place of detention of activist Kekalov remains unknown
Baku/21.11.23/Turan: For the second day now, the lawyer has not been able to clarify the place of detention of public activist Muhammad Kekalov, who was detained on the morning of November 20.
"Yesterday and today I called the call center "102" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Main Police Department of Baku and the Ombudsman. It has not yet been possible to get information on the reason for his detention, and his whereabouts," lawyer Rovshan Rahimli told Turan.
The day before, a group of plain clothed people came to Kekalov's house. Without presenting any documents, they detained the young man and forcibly took him away with them. At the same time, they took the young man's personal computer and mobile phone.
Activists believe that Kekalov's detention may be related to the case of the leaders "Abzas Media", with which he collaborated.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs does not comment on Kekalov's detention. -03B-
