Baku/12/27.23/Turan: The Republican Council of the Russian Community of Azerbaijan (RCA) has supported the decision of the ruling “Yeni Azerbaijan” party to nominate the candidacy of the current head of state Ilham Aliyev for the early presidential elections in 2023.
In a widespread appeal of the RCA, it is noted that under the leadership of Aliyev, the people of Azerbaijan liberated the territories of the country occupied by Armenia. The document also indicates the strengthening of Azerbaijan's "authority in the international arena." The Republican Council expresses confidence that the members of the Russian community will continue to support Aliyev and will cast their votes for him on February 7.
It should be noted that election campaigning officially begins on January 17 and ends the day before the election - at 8:00 on February 6. --06B--
