The State Department denies the Politico publication, but warns of serious consequences for violating Armenian sovereignty
Baku/15.10.23/Turan: The US State Department responded to an article in the Politoco on October 14, which stated that Azerbaijan may invade Armenia in the coming weeks with reference to Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
In connection with this publication, the State Department spokesperson stated: “The United States strongly supports Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We have stressed that any infringement of that sovereignty and territorial integrity would bring serious consequences. The reporting in this article is inaccurate and in no way reflects what Secretary Blinken said to lawmakers.” -0-
