The US-Azerbaijani security consultations will be held in Washington
On July 24, the thirteenth security dialogue between Azerbaijan and the United States will start in Washington. The mission of Baku will head the Deputy Foreign Minister, Araz Alimov, a delegation of representatives of the Ministry of National Security, the Interior Ministry, Defense Ministry, the Emergencies Ministry, the Border and Customs Services.
At today's briefing, spokesman of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev said that the U.S. delegation will be headed by Andrew Shapiro, Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs.
The agenda includes the issues of security cooperation, and regional issues. Such dialogues have been held since 1997. -06В-
