This time Rogozin was welcomed in Baku not so warm
Today Baku opened a regular meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation. "We have spent much time on negotiations, we removed a number of issues, which caused complex debates," quotes the head of the Commission on the Russian side, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin RIA.
The head of the Commission from the Azerbaijani side, Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov, in turn, said that "Russia is not only an economic partner, but also the guarantor of security in the region. Russia tries to obtain peace everywhere, but without interference in the internal affairs of countries."
On the eve of the meeting in Moscow, the sources did leak to the newspaper "Kommersant" that Rogozin will leave for Baku on the day before, to inform the President Ilham Aliyev about the causes of supply missiles "Iskander" to Armenia, which caused strong dissatisfaction of Baku.
However, Ilham Aliyev has not received Rogozin, and the Russian delegation had a talk with the colleagues of the joint commission.
Most likely, Aliyev’s meeting with Rogozin will take place after the completion of the committee meeting, and will be formal, and not so warm as before. -02D-
