In early September, the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Thomas Melia will visit Baku, an informed diplomatic source told Turan.
It is expected that during the visit, Melia will meet with the leaders of Azerbaijan, as well as with representatives of the opposition and civil society.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss the pre-election situation and bilateral relations.
This will be the third visit of Melia to Baku in the last 12 months. -03B-
