Eldar Namazov Called to Prosecutor General
By 15:00 on August 29, the head of the Executive Office of the National Council of Democratic Forces and the leader of the El Movement, Eldar Namazov, has been summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office for Serious Crimes.
"The challenge is due to the statements of the former member of the movement El, Aflan Ibrahimov, who said that the National Council is allegedly preparing riots. I was summoned by the investigator, Orkhan Damirli, to give explanations on the matter, "Namazov told Turan.
He called such claims "absurd," noting that he does not need the help of a lawyer.
Commenting on the statement by the former member of the movement El, Aflan Ibrahimov, Namazov said that he was expelled from El, as there was information that he was an agent of the authorities and was preparing a provocation. That is why he was not admitted to the National Council. -02B--
