Turkey and Pakistan stand in solidarity with Azerbaijan-about the Baku Declaration
Baku/28.07.21/Turan: The speakers of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan condemn Armenia's failure to provide maps of mined territories to Azerbaijan. They emphasize their full solidarity with Azerbaijan in its efforts to restore the liberated lands and return the internally displaced persons home. That was stated in the Baku Declaration signed yesterday by the heads of the legislative bodies of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan following their trilateral meeting in Baku.
The authors of the document stressed the important role of bilateral and multilateral inter-parliamentary relations in solving international problems and strengthening peace and security.
They supported joint efforts against externally sponsored terrorist attacks, cyber attacks, hybrid wars and disinformation.
The legislators of the three states intend to cooperate closely on regional and global issues of mutual interest and adhere to a common position in international parliamentary organizations.
They are also ready to work in regional and international parliamentary platforms to combat Islamophobia and harassment of Muslim minorities.
The parties agreed to provide their governments with comprehensive support for improving regional cooperation in transport, trade, energy, international relations, education, social and cultural, tourism, information and communication technologies.
The next meeting of the speakers will be held in Islamabad in 2022.-03D-

The health condition of activist Nijat Ibrahim has sharply worsened while he remains in Baku's Detention Center No. 1, his wife Parvin Ibrahim told Turan news agency. According to her, Ibrahim called today to report severe back pain, and he can barely move. Recently, his blood pressure has also risen, and doctors have diagnosed him with hypertension.

On Sunday, November 5, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the 11th Summit of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States. Upon his arrival at Manas 2 International Airport in Bishkek, Aliyev was greeted with a ceremonial honor guard and welcomed by Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister and Chief of Staff, Akylbek Japarov, along with other officials.
