Turkish Prime Minister Thanks Azerbaijan for Mediation with Moscow
Turkey’s Prime Minister Binali Yildirim expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan for mediation in reconciliation between Ankara and Moscow.
As reported by Haberturk Agency, Yıldırım said this today, speaking to members of the ruling party.
"Informal contacts were maintained for a long time and this is a great effort exerted by our friends in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan," he said.
Then Prime Minister said Ankara has not stated its readiness to pay compensation for the downed aircraft. "We have just apologized,” he said. -16D-
