Baku/13.01.18/Turan: On 12 January the Head of State Ilham Aliyev issued a decree establishing the State Maritime Agency on the basis of the State Maritime Administration of the country, and the State Civil Aviation Agency on the basis of the State Civil Aviation Administration. Both agencies are part of the Ministry of Transport. The head of state appoints and dismisses the directors of the agency.
The decree determines the staff of the Ministry of Transport in the amount of 190 units, the State Road Transport Service - 145 units, the State Agency of Civil Aviation - 48 units, the Electronic Security Service - 18 units, the State Fund of Information Technologies Development - 12 units. -02D-
