The author notes that oil is the main factor of developing economy, and is one of the main factors in solving social problems. The article deals with the solution of housing problems of oil workers. So, in the village of Lokbatan and the village of Garachuhur, residential houses for oil workers are being built.
The newspaper "Echo" published an article entitled: "The subsistence minimum in Azerbaijan does not reach the consumer basket". The consumer basket is directly related to the subsistence level, which, however, does not allow purchasing the necessary goods and products within the established limits of 173 manats. At the same time, the real consumer basket is equal to 276.96 manats. Therefore, the subsistence minimum in the country should be brought up to at least 300 manat, experts say.
