UN Secretary-General will attend the Global Forum in Baku
The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will arrive in Baku to participate in the Seventh Global Forum of the UN Alliance of Civilizations, which will be held April 25-27, said organizers of the event. According to the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan, the forum will be attended by more than 2.5 thousand visitors from 120 countries, including a number of heads of states. At present it is known about the arrival of the President of Turkey, and Iranian Foreign Minister.
During the Global Forum will take place meeting of state dignitaries and about 30 sessions. The adoption of the Baku Declaration is expected. Meanwhile, the Armenian Foreign Ministry issued a statement calling on the participants of the Global Forum to condemn the actions of Baku in Karabakh in early April.
