The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu will visit Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan for the development of diplomatic ties on December 13-14. During the meeting the Prime Minister will discuss regional economic and diplomatic issues as well as security issues, the website of the head of the government of Israel reported.
Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on December 13. Following the meeting, the Minister for Jerusalem Affairs, National Heritage and the Environment Elkin Zeev will sign an agreement of cooperation in the field of standardization, double taxation and agriculture.
The Israeli Prime Minister will visit the Alley of Martyrs to lay a wreath at the memorial.
Together with the Minister of Education Mikail Jabbarov Benjamin Netanyahu will visit the training complex of the Jewish community Or Avner, in which he studied. The Israeli Prime Minister will also meet with representatives of the Jewish community.
On December 14th, Netanyahu will travel to Kazakhstan. The Netanyahu-Aliyev talks will be held in the presidential residence Zagulba. It was there that Netanyahu held talks with the late President Heydar Aliyev in the course of a short visit to Baku on the way from Seoul to Jerusalem in August 1997.
