The small artillery ships of the Russian Navy, Makhachkala and Volgodonsk, and the hydrographic ship Anatoly Guzhvin today arrived in Baku on an official visit.
The Russian delegation held meetings with the command of the Navy of Azerbaijan, the leadership of the Executive Power of the Sabail district of Baku and the Seaport, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry reported.
Further they held acquaintance with the educational process in the Supreme Naval School.
The guests will get acquainted with the sights of Baku, as well as played a friendly football match.

From 19 to 26 July, 24 automatic rifles, 1 machine gun, 9 rifles, 28 grenades, 441 shells, 3118 cartridges of different calibre and other ammunition were found in Khankendi, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry reported. President Ilham Aliyev has approved by decree the Azerbaijan-Kazakh intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in military intelligence defense sector. The document was signed in Baku on 7 June 2024.
