Yerevan handed over draft peace agreement to Baku - Pashinyan
Baku/16.02.23/Turan: Armenia yesterday finalised a draft agreement on peace and establishment of relations with Azerbaijan that was handed over to Baku. This is the full version of the agreement with our proposals. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a meeting of the Armenian government on Thursday.
He said that the document has also been handed over to the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries.
"It is clear that this document should be acceptable to Azerbaijan as well, and we hope that certain progress recorded as a result of the three stages of negotiations will be developed.
The document should contain agreements and effective mechanisms to exclude any scenario of violation of long-term peace," Pashinyan added as saying that he was ready to sign such an agreement. "I am ready to assume and bear such responsibility," he said. -02D-
