1 220 new cases of COVID-19 infection revealed in Azerbaijan
Baku/08.08.21/Turan: Over the past day, 1 220 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Azerbaijan, 358 patients have recovered, 7 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 8.
In total, 351,825 cases of COVID-19 infection have been identified in Azerbaijan since the beginning of the pandemic, including 335,025 people have recovered, 5,063 have died, treatment of 11,737 active patients continues.
Over the past day, 9,578 coronavirus tests have been carried out.
Also, 47 475 people were vaccinated against COVID-19 per day.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 30 972, the second - 16 503 people.
The total number of vaccinated in Azerbaijan was 5,418,243 people, of which 3,160,484 were vaccinated with the first dose, 2,257,759 with both doses.-06D-
