16 people suffered from sunstroke
Baku/11.07.22/Turan: Since the start of the summer season, 16 people have applied to Baku emergency station due to sunstroke. This is reported by TƏBİB (Territorial Medical Units Management Association).
Thirteen people were hospitalized, three were treated on site. Of the patients, 13 were elderly people and three were children.
"As a first aid in case of sunburn, it is necessary to take the victim to a shade or a cool room, remove the clothes squeezing him, stretch in a semi-open position. The victim should be given cold water, the face and chest are wiped with cold water. Then it is necessary to make compresses with ice on the head, sides of the neck, armpits and groin (places where large veins pass) or cold water, if this is not possible. After providing primary medical care, it is important to immediately call an ambulance or take the victim to the nearest medical facility," doctors advise. -05В06-
