175 workers were involved in construction without labor contracts
Baku / 13.11.17 / Turan: In the course of monitoring at facilities for the construction of multi-storey buildings, it was revealed the use of labor of 175 workers without concluding contracts with them, reported the Center for Monitoring Labor Relations Service ASAN. In total, 15 on-site monitoring were conducted, covering 43 legal entities and individuals engaged in construction as customers, contractors, subcontractors.
It was revealed that out of 557 employees, labor contracts were concluded only with 382.
In connection with the facts of the employment of 175 workers without contracts, the materials were transferred to the Ministry of Labor and the Prosecutor General's Office.
Attraction to work without labor contracts attracts punishment in the form of monetary fines for the amount of 7.000 to 10.000 manats or imprisonment up to 3 years. April 28 President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on strengthening control in the sphere of suppression of non-official labor relations. -05D06-
