Baku/19.01.23/Turan: On January 17, near the village of Yukhary Agaly, Bilasuvar region border guards revealed a violation of the state border by Iran.
During the search measures, three persons were detained who tried to escape from the place in a "Toyota Pirus" car. They were Azerbaijani citizens: Hajiyev Bakhtiyar, born in 1980, Mammadov Elvin, born in 1984, and Huseynov Vusal, 1986. They arrived at the place to pick up drugs.
During the inspection of the car, 24.3 kg of marijuana, 290 tablets of methadone M-40, an ampoule with a mercury-like liquid were found. An investigation is underway into the fact, the State Border Service said in a statement dated January 19. -05D-
