46 Violators of State Border Detained in June
In June, the Azerbaijani State Border Service officers detained 46 people for violation of the state border.
According to the State Border Service, 23 of them are the citizens of Azerbaijan, 5 - Afghanistan, 4 - Uzbekistan, 2 – Iran, 2 – RF, 2 – Ukraine, 2 - South Korea, 2 - Tajikistan and one - Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Gambia . 55 people were detained for violating the rules of border regime in the Caspian Sea. In addition, the border guards identified and handed over to the appropriate authorities 443 wanted people. As a result of measures to combat drug trafficking, transportation of more than 10 kg of drugs across the border was prevented. -16D04-
