A group of people arrested after the July 14-15 rally released
Baku / 16.11.20 / Turan: The Sabail Court of Baku on November 16 changed the preventive measure for 21 arrested on charges of organizing riots during a rally in Baku on the night of July 14-15.
Among those who were on house arrest there are 12 activists of the Popular Front Party, including Party Board member Fuad Gahramanli, Mamed Ibrahim and Asif Yusifli.
The proposal to change the measure of restraint was made by the prosecutor's office.
A total of 36 people were arrested on this case, of which 15 were PFPA members.
Activists of the Muslim Unity movement Kamil Mahumudov and Tural Veliyev are also among those who were changed from the measure of restraint.
At the same time, 15 PFPA activists remain under arrest: Ramid Nagiyev, Gunduz Mirzoyev, Elnur Jabbarov and others.
It should be reminded that on July 14-15 and tens of thousands of people took part in the action, who marched through the streets of Baku all night, demanding that the authorities start a war in Karabakh.
The reason for this was the attack of the Armenians and the murder of several Azerbaijani soldiers in Tovuz region.-03-
