A new resource on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
Baku / 24.07.17 / Turan: A new information resource (www.mia.gov.az) was created on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The reason for creating this resource is an increased appeal to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in connection with obtaining information about citizens evading their civil and legal obligations and thus falling into the wanted list as debtors. Through this resource, citizens can find out whether there are restrictions on their exit from the country. It is through this interactive window, which has been in effect since June this year, that citizens will be able to obtain the above information.
In Azerbaijan since the spring of 2015, is applied a ban on leaving the country for persons with credit debts or evading taxes. Over four thousand people were forbidden to leave the country due to credit debts to the Azerbaijan International Bank. -05D04-

November 8 is celebrated as Victory Day in Azerbaijan. In 2020, Azerbaijan restored its territorial integrity through a 44-day war and a one-day military operation in 2023. Although a ceasefire declaration was signed between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia, a peace treaty between Baku and Yerevan has yet to be signed, even four years later.
