A soldier of the Border Service hanged himself
A soldier of the Border Service, Nofal Mamedov, who served in a military unit in the city of Geytapa, hanged himself on Thursday, reads the message on the site of the Border Service. The cause of the suicide is not yet clear.
Nofal Mamedov, born in 1994, was called up from Goranboy region. The Military Prosecutor's Office has started an investigation in the case under the Article 125 of the Criminal Code (incitement to suicide.)
According to unofficial statistics, in the current year the number of military deaths in Azerbaijan totals more than 60 people, and 70 wounded. -16D-
