After tortures Nidjat Amiraslanov refused the appeal complaint
Baku / 03.06.17 / Turan: Attorney Elchin Sadigov and investigative journalist Khadija Ismayilova found today in the Ganja Court of Appeal the journalist Nijat Amiraslanov, when an assistant judge forced him to refuse the complaint and the defender, and pleading guilty.
Elchan Sadigov told Turan, it was evident that the journalist was intimidated - his hands and feet were shaking, his teeth were beaten. "He told us that he has another 18 days to be under arrest and we must understand him," said the lawyer.
The lawyer was not allowed to talk privately with Amiraslanov. The judge's assistant said that the judge did not come to the trial because he is waiting for the refusal of the complaint.
"The actions of the assistant referee and the judge"s not appearance at the appointed time mean that the journalist's compulsion to refuse the complaint was planned," said the lawyer, after which he was taken out of the hall.
Khadija Ismayilova posted on her Facebook page two videos from her courtroom.
One shows how a young man is dictating something to Amiraslanov. On the other, in front of Amiraslanov is a man in uniform. Ismayilova asks the journalist about his teeth, and he answers - " they fell out".
Immediately after this, the bailiffs demanded that Ismayilova stop shooting and be taken out of the hall.
* Journalist Amiraslanov was detained on May 22 in the Gazakh region, and was arrested on the next day for 30 days. He was found guilty under Article 535.1 (insubordination of the police) of the Administrative Offenses Code. However, according to human rights activists, the true reason is the ironic publications about Mehriban Aliyeva, which Amiraslanov compared with Napoleon's cake.-06B--
