Almost four thousand new cases of COVID-19 infection
Baku/20.08.21/Turan: Over the past 24 hours, 3,968 new cases of coronavirus infection have been identified in Azerbaijan, 1,151 patients have recovered, and 21 have died, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers said on August 20.
The total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic has reached 384,886, of which 343,407 have recovered, 5,252 have died, and 36,227 active patients are undergoing treatment.
Over the past day, 17,215 tests were carried out to identify those infected with COVID-19. Also, 54455 COVID-19 vaccines were introduced per day. At the same time, 43,046 people were vaccinated with the first dose, and 11409 with the second.
A total of 6,045,471 doses of vaccines were used. The first dose was received by 3,617,203 people, both - 2,428,268.-06D-
