Another group of drug dealers neutralized, a large amount of opium seized
Baku/20.08.21/Turan: During a joint operation of employees of the State Customs Service and the Office for Combating Drug Trafficking of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a criminal group of drug dealers was neutralized, the State Customs Committee said on August 20.
Thus, while trying to sell a large consignment of drugs (about 9 kg of opium), a member of the group, Mohammed Mammadov, was detained. His partner Parvin Rzayev escaped while driving.
On August 4, another member of the group, Musazade Rovshan, was detained in the Yasamal district of Baku, and the next day Parvin Rzayev himself was detained in the city of Shirvan. The drugs seized from them were smuggled into the country from Iran.
A lawsuit was initiated on the fact under several Articles of the Criminal Code; all members of the group were arrested. -02D-
