An attempt of sea smuggling by Iran was nullified
Baku/18.10.21/Turan: On October 16 at 23:00, the coast guard of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan fixed violation of the territorial waters of the country by three boats from Iran. Motor boats were moving towards Azerbaijan.
The boats of the border guards were sent to intercept the violators. After the warning fire, the violators turned around and left the territorial waters of Azerbaijan dropping several large packages overboard.
In the boxes extracted from the water there were 23,780 packages of cigarettes, the approximate cost of which is 100 thn manats. An investigation is underway into the fact, the State Border Service of Azerbaijan said in a statement. -02D-
