Baku / 07.05.18 / Turan: Anar Mammadov, the son of ex-Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov, after a long absence, appeared in public on May 6. On Sunday, he was a witness at the wedding of the popular Turkish singer Alishan.

What connects Anar Mammadov with Alishan is not reported. However, after Ziya Mammadov's dismissal from the post of Minister, Anar Mammadov curtailed all his business in Azerbaijan. On December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane operated by Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), on a Baku–Grozny flight, crashed near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan. Azerbaijan’s Consul General in Aktau, Ayxan Suleymanlı, stated that the plane had 67 people onboard, including crew members, 38 of whom died. According to him, 26 of the deceased were Azerbaijani citizens.
