Another Activist of Muslim Unity Movement Arrested
On the night of March 15, an operation was carried out to seize the activist of the movement Muslim Unity Elkhan Iskandarov. As activist of civil society Zumrud Yagmur reported in social networks, Iskanderov was taken from his place by masked people on Jalil Mammadguluzadeh Street at 2:00 a.m.
The relatives reported that they did not open the door to the unknown masked men. After that they quickly broke open the windows and burst inside. Iskandarov was put a bag on his head and taken to an unknown destination. The relatives believe that they were workers of the notorious General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Arrests of activists and supporters of the movement Muslim Unity have been held for a long time - after a special operation in Nardaran on November 26, 2015, when the leader of the organization Taleh Bagirzadeh and dozens of other members of this religious organization were detained.
