Baku / 08.07.19 / Turan: An activist of the Masalli district branch of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Araz Mammadov was detained on July 8 in the morning.
According to PFPA, he was taken to the local police department. The reasons for the detention are not known and, as of 16:30 pm, there was no information about Mammadov"s fate. It was not possible to get comments in the Masalli district police department and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Note that today, dozens of activists of this opposition political party are under arrest on various charges. -21B-
