Armed Collision in Karabakh - Killed and Wounded
On the evening of August 22 the Armenian side bombarded Azerbaijani positions in the Aghdam and Khojavend directions from mortars.
In response the positions and communications of the enemy were fired with mortars and artillery. According to the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, the enemy lost five people killed and eight wounded.
From the Azerbaijani side three soldiers were shrapnel wounded and there is no threat to their lives. The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry puts the blame for the aggravation on the Armenian side and threatens with new more sensitive blows to the Armenian positions.
Armenian sources denied the reports from Baku by noon, saying the Azerbaijani side lost four people killed and fifteen wounded.-0—

One Indian citizen was killed, and another was injured in an incident at a company in the Absheron district. The General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan reported the incident on January 13.
