Armenia Begins Trial of Azerbaijanis from Georgia
Yerevan / 30.10.15 / Turan- ArmInfo: In the city of Stepanavan (Lori region of Armenia) on November 2, a hearing will start on the case of a Georgian citizen of Azeri origin Turgay Mikailov born in 1980, accused of illegally crossing the state border of Armenia.
As reported at the Ministry of Justice on July 23, 2015, at 21 am local time Mikayilov bypassing border checkpoints, on foot illegally crossed the Armenian-Georgian border near the village of Dzyunashokh of the Lori region. According to the Armenian legislation, Mikailov faces imprisonment of up to 3 years or a fine of 100 thousand drams. -02D-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
