"Polad suffers from a cardiovascular disease. Currently, his heart pain does not stop. He is examined only after the requirement to call a doctor for him. However, doctors say "there is nothing serious" and leave him without help. But, Polad cannot eat or sleep from his heart pains. He is losing weight more and more," said Aslanova.
She considers the arrest of her husband illegal and related to his journalistic activities.
"Polad Aslanov, in his publications, exposed the corrupt acts of some of the SSS officers. Now they are taking revenge on him," said Aslanova.
