Baku/28.02.18/Turan: In the course of measures to curb illegal migration, in recent days the migration service of Azerbaijan has detained 5 Indians, 3 Pakistani citizens, 2 citizens of Bangladesh and one Afghan, the migration service of the country said.
Two Pakistanis and two citizens of Bangladesh arrived in Azerbaijan under the pretext of business activities. However, the verification did not confirm this. It was also found that other detainees violated the rules of stay in Azerbaijan. Concerning the detainees, appropriate administrative measures have been taken, the report says, without specifying which ones.
It should be noted that in the last 2-3 months the Migration Service of the country has significantly intensified the fight against illegal migration and similar reports are being sent to the press almost daily. The most illegal migrants are from India and Pakistan. -02D-
