Aygun Beylar passed away
Baku/07.0.23/Turan: Azerbaijani culture has suffered a heavy loss. On January 6, after a severe long-term illness, Honored Artist of the Republic Aygun Humbatova (Beylar) died in Ankara, according to an obituary distributed by the Ministry of Culture. The singer was born on August 22, 1975 in Baku. In 1998, she entered the Azerbaijan State Conservatory at the Faculty of Folk Vocal. She studied the art of mugham with prominent performers - Arif Babayev, Islam Rzayev, Agakhan Abdullayev, etc.
In 2002, Beylar was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan". In 2005, Beylar won the Grand Prix of the international music festival "Oriental Melodies" in Samarkand.
In 2005-2010. Beylar performed concert programs in France, Spain, Morocco, the USA, Great Britain, Russia, Turkey, Greece, Germany, South Korea, Sweden, Denmark, etc.
