AZAL will not close air communication with Iran - J. Askerov
Baku/24.02.20/Turan: Azerbaijan’s low-cost airline Buta Airways does not currently plan to cancel the schedule of flights to Iran. This was reported today by the press service of AZAL CJSC, the parent company of the low-cost airline.
“Buta Airways operates daily flights Baku-Tehran-Baku and plans to operate normally according to the current schedule. I also want to inform that Heydar Aliyev International Airport and other airports of Azerbaijan will not introduce any restrictions on flights from İran Air,” said AZAL President Jahangir Askerov.
At the same time, sanitary and quarantine control on flights arriving from Iran has been strengthened at a Baku international airport, the report said. –06В-

On January 7, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree increasing the salaries of employees in several organizations funded by the state budget. According to the decree, the monthly salaries of managerial and other employees in around 20 institutions (including the Presidium, Apparatus, and Ganja Branch of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, and the Heydar Aliyev Center) will increase by an average of 15% starting January 1, 2025.
