Two trucks with 333 kilograms of heroin have been detained in Romania. They had been going through Ukraine to Western Europe, Associated Press reported.
On July 29 heroin was found in the trucks, one of which was directed to Hungary and the other - to the Romanian city Bystrica. The drugs were hidden under pepper to avoid being discovered by special dogs.
Two Turkish citizens and two Romanian citizens were detained. According to the police chief of Romania Claudiu Cucu, they were followed from 2011.
The heroin was made probably in Afghanistan.
In turn, the agency RIA reported that drugs were driven through Azerbaijan, Georgia, Turkey and Ukraine.
