Azerbaijan Switches to Daylight Saving Time
From March 29 Azerbaijan switches to daylight saving time. The clock will be moved forward one hour at 4 a.m. on March 29, according to the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patent.
According to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of 17 March 1997 on the annual transition to summer daylight saving time on the territory of Azerbaijan, every year on the last Sunday in March, clocks are moved forward one hour at 4 o'clock in the morning.
Azerbaijan annually switches to winter daylight saving time on the last Sunday in October by setting clocks back one hour at 5 o'clock in the morning. -03D04-
