Azerbaijani businessman buys Turkish football club
Baku / 04.11.18 / Turan: An Azerbaijani businessman, Rauf Ismayilov, has bought the team "Genjler Birliyi Darija" from the Kocaeli region, in the Red Group of the second league of the Turkish Football Federation, Turan reported with reference to the Turkish newspaper "Sozcu". It is expected that an official statement on this issue will be distributed in the coming week. Ismayilov and the club president, Mujahid Vural, took part in the ceremony of signing the sale agreement. All rights to the club "Ganjlarbirliyi Darija" are transferred to the Azerbaijani businessman. In the 2017-2018 this team became the winner in the third league. Since October 15, the former team coach of Turkey and the Istanbul "Besiktas" Oktay Derelioglu has been appointed the head coach of the team. -0--
