Azerbaijani Businessman Committed Suicide in Istanbul
An Azerbaijani businessman, Farko Company’s owner Fakhraddin Aliyev, who lived in Istanbul, committed suicide on a shooting range on January 22.
According to Turkish media reports, he was Deputy Consul General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul before. However, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hikmet Hajiyev denied it and told Turan IA Aliyev had never worked at the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.
The reasons for the suicide are unknown. The investigation is underway. Turkish media have also reported that Aliyev is a member of the Youth Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. -03D-
